EHRB Qualifications
Since 1995 EHRB has been involved in accrediting qualifications mainly designed for technician level officers within Local Authorities. Recently, this has come to include qualifications for all persons involved in Public and Environmental Health matters.

The EHRB Qualifications below are Technical Officer Qualifications:
Successful completion of any of these courses and an assessment leads to a Certificate from EHRB and inclusion on the appropriate Register.
Each of these technical officer qualifications has the same basic structure:
- Successful completion of an accredited course of study;
- A minimum of 6 months of practical training and completion of the logbook;
- A professional interview.
Whilst the order in which the logbook and the interview are undertaken is not relevant, neither assessment can be undertaken until the accredited course has been passed and EHRB informed of the result.
The appropriate logbook is supplied when a candidate registers with EHRB and can be submitted at any time after the successful completion of the course.
